Team
From left to right: Lynn Fairfield-Sonn office manager, Madeline Barton legal assistant, Attorney Priscilla Hammond, Attorney Tammie Gildea,  CWA Kristine Johnson, Kristen DeCicco legal assistant, Attorney Michael Miller, and CWA Sheila Perry.

The three attorneys, two child welfare advocates, an office manager and two legal assistants comprise our office staff. Our staff includes:

Priscilla F. Hammond,
Managing Attorney

Michael F. Miller,
Senior Trial Attorney

Tammie L. Gildea,
Trial Attorney

Kristine Johnson,
Child Welfare Advocate

Sheila Perry,
Child Welfare Advocate

The three attorneys all had extensive child protection law experience as solo practitioners before forming the SECCJJ.

Each child client is assigned an attorney and a child welfare advocate as his or her legal team.  Through visits with the child and information gathered from parents, the foster parents, the Department of Children and Families, educators, medical providers and other critical people in the child’s life, SECCJJ zealously advocates for the child in court.

Attorneys Hammond, Miller and Gildea offer over 24 years of combined child protection experience and have litigated hundreds of child protection cases.

Together with our Child Welfare Advocates, we provide a multidisciplinary approach to legal representation for abused and neglected children in Southeastern Connecticut.
